SUMMARY:Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
DESCRIPTION:NACA’s Reach UR Life program will be providing the free\, community training\, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). ASIST is a two day workshop designed to teach skills to confidently intervene with someone at risk of suicide. The training teaches participants to recognizes when someone may have thoughts of suicide and how to help them create a plan to support their immediate safety. ASIST is for anyone ages 16 and older (ages 16 & 17 will need to complete and submit a parental consent form to the Reach UR Life program before training begins). \nDate: September 12 and 13 \n8:30 AM – 5 PM (MST) \n  \nLocation: Admin District Office at FUSD \n3285 E Sparrow Ave.\, Flagstaff\, AZ 86004 \n  \nFor more information about registration and training availability\, please contact Sophia Burke\, at sburke@nacainc.org
