Mental Health Services

We offer strengths-based outpatient services for youth and adults in individual, family, and group settings. Counseling is offered for Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), depression, grief, trauma, self-esteem, coping skills, spiritual distress, managing one’s lifestyle, and other issues. We also offer Prevention Programs, including Suicide Prevention, and Pathways – After School Programs for Youth.

NACA has on staff a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) are specially trained to work in the mental health field. They assess patients, review their medical history, and perform comprehensive mental health testing. PMHNPs also make diagnoses and create treatment plans, much like a doctor would do.

Patient Benefit Coordination

The NACA Family Health Center offers AHCCCS enrollment assistance for patients who do not have insurance. The Patient Benefits Coordinator is available to patients for confidential enrollment appointments to ensure all required documents are securely sent to the enrollment office. If a patient does not qualify for AHCCCS, a sliding fee scale is offered and determined by the income/household size.

NACA Inc. accepts most private insurances as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Additionally, we provide services for visitors who plan to self-pay and do apply a sliding fee scale to those who qualify.
